We waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Once seated our server was very attentive. We were asked if it was our first time (it was) and given ample time to review the menu and make a selection. We both ordered a dinner roll. One with the salad and one with miso soup and there was plenty for us both to share. The sushi was fantastic. The decor was very nice. The booth was a little difficult to navigate for tall people with long legs but otherwise the layout of the restaurant was welcoming and easy to navigate.

Excellently priced. Went in on a very down time and still had friendly staff and very quick service. Portion sizes are larger than many other Asian restaurants in the area.

Went there for the first time this week with friends. Food is exceptional, wait staff was amazing and very attentive to us, the presentation of the food is the best I've ever seen in Paducah. Definitely gonna return to this place.

The new Summer Roll is definitely one of he favorite meals I’ve had in a long time. The wait staff was fantastic especially the waiter (I believe his name was Chance, my apologies if that’s not right). Interior is warm and inviting, able to hold large groups, bathrooms clean. We will be back soon, it really is a fantastic place.

An expensive but super-great place to eat some authentic Japanese style dishes. Pretty good sushi rolls.

This is a great place to get Hibachi style Japanese food, at a fair price. They don't cook in front of you like at Tokyo Hibachi, but it's also less expensive. And it's a pretty nice atmosphere. Clean, in a fairly new building, not too bright and not too dark. I recommend the chicken and fried rice, but the rest of my family loves the sushi. I can't see anyone eating here and not wanting to return.

Do not, I repeat, do not, underestimate how good the NY Strip can be. Straoght up fantastic.

Incredible place! Fresh and delicious foods, my wife and I love sushi so we just had to visit. We were not disappointed! Great presentation, sushi was perfect and really great price point. Will definitely come back, and letting our friends know about this restaurant!

Great place but I'm worried it's not going to last.First off, I went down to Paducah, about an hour away, just for dinner. Usually we go to another place, Jasmine, by the mall. We decided to try Hokkaido since it had sushi and reviews were good.When we first got there I was a little worried, 5pm and only 1 couple there other than us. Chance was there to wait on us, very attentive and helpful. The menu was simple and easy to pick out what you want.We had the Dragon, Volcano, and Rainbow Rolls. All were very good in flavor and plated nicely. Very large rolls also, as in be prepared to unhinge your jaw!As we are more people filtered in, about 25 by the time we left.The only thing is it's off the beaten path enough that I'm worried they won't get enough business.Awesome place, great staff, and really good food. I hope it makes it as it's much better than Jasmine.

It is kind of hidden off the road in lone oak, just outside of Paducah KY. Once you find it you will love it! Food is great! Fried calamari as an appetizer Love the seaweed salad, and Miso soup . Scallops fried rice and hibachi vegetables DELICIOUS! Ice Tea with lemon 🍋 perfect! Food was the perfect Temperature hot was hot the cold was cold. The waitress was very attentive and sweet. I definitely recommend it! There is also many sushi rolls. I have loved all I have tryed.

Just walked out of this place hungry. We never got served. Never was asked for drinks. Nothing. We were sat after 10 minutes. It was understandable since they were busy. Once 2 other tables were helped and served drinks when they were sat after us we decided to leave. We waited 20 minutes. I have been here before and the food is amazing. really disappointed not being able to eat here tonight.

Well cleaned and great food

The Volcano, King Crab, Sweet Potato, and Tempura Shrimp rolls are amazing! The gentleman serving us was extremely nice and helpful. Definitely coming back soon!

The Food was Delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. They need to advertise Hokkaido grill and Sushi we didn't even know it was there. Great Place and you get a lot of food.

We turned around two times in fear of it not being good due to a few reviews. I was so glad we decided to give it a try. The service was great! The staff was very welcoming and interacted with us, so that’s a big plus! The food was good. They put a different type of sauce on all of their meats that I’ve never had at other Japanese steakhouses/grilles, but it really made it taste great. Fried rice was some of the best I’ve had around. Am sushi was sooooo good!Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

I'm old fashioned when it comes to sushi. I don't like tons of silly rolls. Just a handful of super good options. This place isn't getting crazy with options, but they also don't have alot of nigiri options either. If I have one critique, I wish it was a more traditional ambiance. There isn't an actual sushi bar to sit at. I like interacting with the chef, and seeing the cuts. Also the prices are kinda upscale, not overpriced as long as it's good sushi, and it is. The nigiri cuts are so thick and tasty. The yellowtail is easily one of the best I've had. The dragon roll is delicious. It's worth it. Best sushi in Paducah, I've had them all.

Great service. Went on Friday night during Happy hour. Good drink specials and a decent selection of food. Everything we ordered was good, not anything extraordinary but good.Decor inside was nice, not crowded together or sitting right on top of other diners. I will definitely go back

It was pretty good the staff was okay but kinda borderline unprofessional. The house soup wasn't quite what I expected. It's pretty salty. The sushi was really fresh and tasty. The ginger dressing is amazing.

Very good food! Went at an off time and we were he only ones there. Waitress was sweet and we got our food super fast. Got enough to fill up on plus have a couple days worth of lunches in leftovers. Would recommend!

Good food, but not as good as regular hibachi. They covered/ drenched my whole meal in a brown sauce, which was disappointing. The veggies weren't as crisp as traditional hibachi, where they cook it in front of you. They didn't bring different sauces on side like other places. And most hibachi places give you soup and salad, where here, you have to choose. Just a few little things, but I will go somewhere else in the future.
